Wyndham Carols by Candlelight is an iconic event in the City of Wyndham, and has been running for over 30 years. Attracting thousands from the community each year, it is a tradition for many families across the region.

ABOUT WYNDHAM CAROLS

Run by the Wyndham Minister’s Network and supported by the Wyndham City Council, the Wyndham Carols by Candlelight aims to bring the whole community together to celebrate the joy of Christmas. An entirely non-profit event, it is the largest Christmas Carols celebration held in Victoria outside Melbourne’s Christmas Eve Concert.

The Wyndham Carols by Candlelight is traditionally held on the second Saturday of December, featuring songs and carols with a live band, and has often included various performances from community groups and a depiction of the Christmas nativity.

WHAT IS WYNDHAM CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT?

Wyndham Carols by Candelight is an annual festive Christmas concert held within the Wyndham area. It attracts thousands of people each year to celebrate the Christmas period.

WHAT IS THE WYNDHAM MINISTER'S NETWORK?

The Wyndham Minister's Network is a non-denominational Christian organisation that works together with representatives of 16 different churches across Wyndham to present the Good News of Jesus Christ to our local community The network is responsible for organising the annual Good Friday Combined Churches service, along with the annual Wyndham Carols by Candlelight event.

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET?

Yes you will need a ticket to attend the Wyndham Carols by Candlelight 2019, ticket prices are listed above and you can purchase both online and at the gate on the night.

HOW DO I GET TO WYNDHAM CAROLS?

There will be ample car parking available for the event. While the grounds can be accessed via Public Transport (Bus 439) we cannot guarantee it will be operating by the conclusion of the evening.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY?

Gates open at 5:30pm. There is a range of family-friendly activities available, as well as food trucks where you can purchase food, with a pre-show running from 7pm on the stage. From 8pm the main event starts, featuring items, carols, the Nativity Story, and more until the conclusion of the evening at 9:45pm.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?

Yes there will be food trucks on site where you can purchase food from 5:30pm.

IS THE LOCATION WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

This year the Wyndham Carols by Candlelight is being held within the Werribee Mansion grounds and is wheelchair accessible.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We suggest you bring a picnic blanket or small camping chair, comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, and an umbrella. Additionally while rubbish bins will be provided, you may consider bringing a rubbish bag if you plan on bringing lots of snacks or drinks as it will help us on the night.

WHAT IS PROHIBITED?

Please don't bring any large Eskies or coolers, alcohol or illicit substances, lazers or portable Bluetooth speakers. While we encourage you to bring a camera, there's strictly no use of drones at the event.
