About Wyndham Carols

Run by the Wyndham Ministers Network and supported by the Wyndham City Council, the Wyndham Carols by Candlelight aims to bring the whole community together to celebrate the joy of Christmas. An entirely non-profit event, it is the largest Christmas Carols celebration held in Victoria outside Melbourne’s Christmas Eve Concert.

THE WYNDHAM CAROLS SEES OVER 5,000 PEOPLE COME TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THE SEASON OF CHRISTMAS

The Wyndham Carols by Candlelight traditionally features songs and carols with a live band, and has often included various performances from community groups and a depiction of the Christmas nativity.

Fatai

We’re thrilled to announce that Fatai will be our headline artist for our Wyndham Carols by Candlelight for 2025.

Fatai is a Wyndham-local, and a dynamic singer-songwriter known for her powerful, soulful voice, her stunning vocal range and distinctive style, blending elements of soul, pop, and R&B. She has headlined tours across Europe, the UK, and North America, and has shared the stage with notable artists, including Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, and PJ Morton.

In 2024 she was a performer at the Lord Mayors Carols in Brisbane, televised nationally, with a beautiful rendition of Little Drummer Boy with a stunning choir and Samoan dance group.

Recent releases like ‘Right There’, ‘Shuga Luga Buga’ and ‘Flesh & Bone’ (co-written with Guy Sebastian) highlight her versatility and artistry, combining heartfelt, introspective lyrics with lush, melodic soundscapes. Through her music, Fatai uses her voice to inspire and uplift, and we’re excited that she will be joining us performing in her hometown of Wyndham in December.
